inSun — Privacy Policy

inSun is an employee attendance and time-tracking service for businesses, operated by Sky Universe Group. This policy explains what personal data inSun processes, why, and the choices you have.

Data we process

• Business owner account: email address and name (used to sign in and manage the account).
• Employee records entered by the business: name, optional phone number, position, employee ID, an optional photo, an optional face template used only for check-in, and a hashed check-in PIN.
• Attendance records: check-in and check-out times.
• Subscription / billing status for the business account.
• A device identifier used to bind a check-in kiosk device to a specific business.

How we use data

We use this data solely to provide the service: attendance check-in (via face recognition or PIN), employee and schedule management, reporting and exports, notifications, and subscription management. Face templates and PINs are used only to verify a check-in.

Face data

Where a business enables face check-in, a face template and photo are stored in access-restricted (private) storage and used only to verify an employee at check-in. They are not used for advertising and are not shared. Businesses may use PIN check-in instead.

Payments

Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. inSun does not store payment card numbers.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data and do not share it with third parties for their own purposes. We use service providers that process data only on our instructions: Supabase (hosting and database) and Stripe (payments).

Security

All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS).

Retention & deletion

Account owners can delete their account and associated data at any time from within the app (Settings → Delete account). Deleting the account removes the associated business data.

Children

inSun is a workplace tool intended for business owners and their staff (18 and over). It is not directed to children.
